I’m trying to decide whether to go to this SPOCOM SF event on Saturday. It looks like the kind of thing that vape bros show up at to prove something.
The banner image for SF is promising...
But the “Gallery” says otherwise. Looks like stancebros and paid models

It might be a nice place to practice some photography though. My Instagram game has been great the last couple of weeks.

Alternatively, I could take apart the Exocet. I need to do:
- Rotors & Pads
- Tie rods
- Shifter rebuild
- Differential bushings
The tie rods could be a small nightmare. I can already foresee them not wanting to come off. I had noticed that the rubber was cracked the last time I had the front wheels off and I have an extra set of tie rods already so no real excuse not to do it when I do the brakes.
The diff bushings are going to be a total PITA.

My weekend is over and it’s back to seven days of work. My next weekend, really, is in two weeks. But at least I’ll get to go to a car show!

I work compressed schedule and take every other Friday off, and this happens to be my off Friday. However I have a doctor’s appointment this moring, then I have to take my wife to an appointment this afternoon. The rest of the weekend is random stuff scheduled at random times meaning I won't have a solid chunk of time to get into anything too crazy. But I may carve out a few hours to start working on my old Honda CB-1.

Going to the beach!
Any show that has classic Benz’s I’m OK with. This may get me kicked out of Oppo , but I even like some of them with a mild drop. Not crazy stanced, but I’ve seen some with cut springs (egads), and I liked them.

I was planning on heading to the darkest place in wa and doing some stargazing, but it's on fire right now, and rain and clouds are forecast for the weekend. I will probably put in my new shocks.

Some kind of overlap with vapebros and stancebros, right? I was encouraged by the old MBs, but the flag masts on the cabrio don’t bode well, and many an old MB is now stanced.
